A B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with over 13 years of extensive experience in the high-pressure gas cylinder industry, specializing in composite cylinder technologies for CNG, hydrogen, and breathing air applications. Possesses deep technical and commercial exposure across the complete lifecycle of cylinder systems, including design, manufacturing, testing, certification, and deployment.
Has gained first-hand exposure to all major composite cylinder manufacturing plants, enabling a strong understanding of global best practices, quality systems, and international standards such as ISO, EN, and UN regulations. This experience has been instrumental in developing robust, compliant, and application-specific storage and transportation solutions.
A key contributor to multiple industry-first innovations in India, including the country’s first Mobile Refuelling Unit (MRU) and India’s first Type-III composite cylinder-based hydrogen storage and transport solution. These developments have played a critical role in advancing clean-energy infrastructure and reducing dependence on imported systems.
Has worked very closely with leading Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) and government stakeholders to conceptualize, design, and successfully build hydrogen prototypes, which are now operational in real-world applications such as hydrogen-powered forklifts, backhoe loaders, defence drones, and military mobility platforms. These projects demonstrate strong capabilities in translating emerging technologies into field-proven, reliable solutions.
Brings a unique blend of hands-on engineering expertise, regulatory knowledge, and system-level integration skills, with a clear focus on supporting India’s hydrogen mission, clean mobility goals, and the Make-in-India initiative. Passionate about developing safe, lightweight, and high-performance composite pressure vessels that enable the next generation of sustainable energy and transport solutions.
